Teaching
Teaching takes place in my Studio based at my home in Meanwood, North Leeds. If you prefer, I am happy to teach via Zoom. Lessons are either 30 mins or an hour and drum students learn on a full drum kit whilst incorporating the use of digital drum machines and music technology. The room is also equipped with a piano and PA system. All ages and abilities are welcome, whether you want to build on your skills and knowledge or are a complete beginner, lessons are tailored to suit your needs and develop your potential.
Drum Lessons

I teach drum kit and percussion to a variety of students of all ages and abilities on a 1:1 basis. I have a 100% pass rate in Trinity Rock and Pop, Trinity Guildhall, and Rockschool graded examination.
Grades aren't the only option ! You could work through your favourite songs, or pick a style of music you like to focus on be it Jazz, Rock, Pop, Funk, Orchestral Percussion or pretty much anything in between. Or you could develop a certain technique. The possibilities are endless!
Piano Lessons

I teach Piano to a variety of students of all ages and abilities on a 1:1 basis.
We can work towards achieving a grade or learn how to play your favourite songs, possibly even have a go at composing your own music!
Music Theory Tuition

I teach Music Theory to a variety of students of all ages and ability on a 1:1 basis.
I can help prepare for GCSE or A level Music exams and am familiar with the demands of various exam boards.
If your child is preparing to attend Music College or study Music at University we can work together to develop and refine music theory knowledge.
